Lerik road construction

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No 419 of August 18, 2018, construction of the Piran-Hamarat-Vijaker highway, covering 28 settlements inhabited by 9,000 people in Lerik region, was entrusted to the Azerbaijan State Road Transport Agency. The construction of the Piran-Hamarat-Vıjaker highway in the mountainous area will contribute to the improvement of the transport network of the residential areas surrounding it, as well as the development of the economy, agriculture and tourism in the region, and will significantly improve the transportation of cargo and passengers.
